FOLSOM, CA - A burglar was arrested Friday afternoon after a nanny getting to work heard a noise at the back of the home on Fratis Street.
Andrew Christian Heitmeyer, 23, was arrested as he tried to run from police, Folsom police said.
When the nanny heard the noise, she called to her employer, thinking it was him. However, when the employer came home, the homeowner looked around the home and found that he was burglarized.
As the nanny and homeowner looked though the home, they encountered Heitmeyer, who fled the home out the back sliding door, Folsom police said.
A neighbor chased after Heitmeyer when he tried to break into the neighbor's home.
Folsom police eventually arrested Heitmeyer on one count of burglary. He was booked into Sacramento County Jail and held on a $130,000 bail.
