FOLSOM, CA - A man was arrested for allegedly stabbing three people outside a bowling alley Saturday.
David Son, 24, of Rancho Cordova, was arrested by Folsom police after employees at the Folsom Lake Bowl, at 511 East Bidwell Street, physically detained him around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Sgt. Jason Browning said.
Witnesses told police minutes before the stabbing, Son tried to bum cigarettes from the victims.
Browning said Son confronted the four people as they left their car in the parking lot of the bowling alley. During the confrontation, Son allegedly stabbed a man in the neck, narrowly missing his carotid artery; another man and a woman were also stabbed.
Two victims were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Browning said.
Son was booked into Sacramento County Jail for attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and a probation violation, Browning said.
