Folsom Cyclebration Bike Festival is Family Friendly! | Fun

Folsom’s annual Cyclebration bike festival offers free family-friendly entertainment at City Lions Park and other Folsom locations.  The fun begins Friday June 8 and continues through Sunday June 10.

Family events include a Scavenger Hunt and Cyclebration Festival & Expo at City Lions Park on Saturday.   Visit www.FolsomCyclebraton.com for details, times and locations.

Free spectator events include:

Fam Jam – Watch pro riders perform aerial tricks and jumps at Cummings Family Park on Friday night. This event also includes open riding for recreational riders of all ages.

Folsom Challenge Criterium – On Saturday, racers will fly through two 90-degree corners along the tree-lined Lake Forest Business Park .  Spectators may enjoy shaded race viewing and access to the American River Bike Trail for a pre- or post-event family ride.

Mountain Bike Short Track – Also on Saturday, spectators may view the Mountain Bike Short Track from the Folsom Rodeo grounds.  The fast course tests cornering speed, agility and climbing legs with short, fast climbs and close-quarters racing.

Willow Creek Circuit Race – Cyclebration concludes on Sunday with the Willow Creek Circuit Race, a 2.4 mile course that starts and finishes at the Maximum building on Coolidge Drive.  Food and beverages will be available from vendors at the venue.
