Wash. man killed in Highway 50 wreck | News
RANCHO CORDOVA, CA - A man was killed when his Ford pickup truck overturned on westbound Highway 50 at Folsom Boulevard around 2:14 Monday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Joseph C. Pickell, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene, said Officer Jasper Begay. Pickell was wearing a seatbelt.
According Begay, the pickup drifted to the highway shoulder where it struck a tree and overturned.
Two motocycles were thrown from the bed of the truck during the crash.
Pickell was from Kelso, Washington.
