Car vs pole closes White Rock Rd. in Folsom | News
FOLSOM, CA - A car hit a power pole on White Rock Road in Folsom around 11:08 p.m. Monday night, knocking down power lines and starting a fire in an adjacent field.
The Sacramento County Roads division arrived at the scene around 11:30 p.m. and blocked off White Rock Rd. from Grant Line Rd. to Prairie City Rd.
The driver of the green Toyota Camry that struck the pole was taken to Mercy San Juan Medical Center.
No information was provided as to why the driver collided with the pole.
Sacramento County was unable to confirm whether the section of road had been reopened as of 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
