Friends of Cordova Parks, Inc. seeks board applicants | Community

Friends of Cordova Parks, Inc., a 501c3, is seeking civic minded applicants for its Board of Directors.  Individuals who have a passion for the vital role parks and recreation play in a healthy community are encouraged to apply.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, reside within the boundaries of the Cordova Recreation and Park District, and be willing to commit to a least a one year term.

Friends of Cordova Parks, Inc. promotes and supports recreation activities, park improvements, facility use, and cultural well being of the community within the boundaries of the Cordova Recreation and Park District.  Cordova Recreation and Park District is an independent special district serving the City of Rancho Cordova, Mather, Gold River, Anatolia, Stone Creek, Larchmont, and Rosemont communities.   The Friends of Cordova Parks, Inc. Board of Directors direct the functions and activities of the Friends 501c3, assist with fundraising, and volunteer at events.  The length of the term is one year, with meeting times and frequency to be determined.
