Photo Gallery | Ninth Annual Toy Run Sponsored By Renegade Classics Will Keep Santa's Elves Busy Wrapping 2300+ Gifts! Merry Christmas!

The Ninth Annual Toy Run, Renegade Classics-sponsored,  treated registered riders to a Continental breakfast held at 65th Street and Folsom, to begin the celebration of each rider enjoying the camaraderie, fellowship and ‘giving spirit’ amongst themselves.   Also, a hot cup of coffee was surely in order!

Northern California motorcycle clubs joined in this, the Ninth Year Toy Run.  Motorcyclists packed their unwrapped gifts in saddle bags as long distances were driven to arrive November 19, 2011 as the great spirit of Thunder Valley Casino Resort resonated love, as they opened their arms embracing all those whose cold ride needed warming up with welcoming smiles, handshakes, hugs, and overall gratitude for the journey!  Santa’s Elves, smiling already, are excitedly greeting the work that lies ahead!

Thunder Valley Casino Resort as host, impeccably met the needs of all!  The staff was so happy, as gifts could be seen hurled in the air and gingerly caught, as many of the sojourners were now at ‘home,’ as the mission to help Santa had been accomplished and all was well.

The spirit that enriches lives, that of giving from the heart, will now reach over 2300 children who will have a gift to open Christmas morning.  Sponsors of this magnanimous event included Thunder Valley Casino Resort, Guidera’s Harley-Davidson of Yuba City and our own Renegade Classics.

Recipients of this generous event include Salvation Army of Roseville, Lighthouse of Lincoln, RISE, Inc. of Capay Valley and Mustard Seed School, located in downtown Sacramento!

As Troy Rowsey, Renegade Classics, summed it:  “We were blessed with good weather and a great time for all.”  Troy described Thunder Valley Casino Resort hosting as “impeccable and immeasurable” as all who participated were attended to by all staff, from the chefs who prepared fine meals, the servers who were right on hand to meet one’s every culinary need…and to make comfortable every one of the 2300+ registered riders of this event.

With a backdrop of brilliant blue velour, the Savanah Blue Band played anything but BLUE!  This band had the attention of all, as music defined the spirit!

As those whose palate tasted all varieties of specialties, each registered rider was given a $10.00 ticket to play at a gaming table, or to purchase an item, beverages, whatever!

Each registered rider received a shirt, run pin, Continental breakfast, $10.00 gaming money and a ‘to-ride-for-miles-for’ buffet lunch.  Thunder Valley Casino Resort offered a “Thunder Valley Week-End Get-A-Way” gift.  Ed Winters received a $500.00 gift certificate to Renegade Classics.  Steve Hammett, is now the owner of an autographed Starship electric guitar.

And, of course, Rick Eck enjoyed being selected in “Best Decorated Bike Contest” as he rode his motorcycle in a full Santa Claus suit!

As the day ended, now ready for perhaps another long-distance drive into the very chilled night air, 2300+ hearts would be warm from a journey gone well!

Troy Rowsey extends a sincere appreciation to all those who made this Ninth Year Toy Run yet another year for communities, far and near, to remember!  A special thanks to C.J. Graham, General Manager, as well Keri Smith, Promotions & Marketing for their commitment to this project and all the strategic details which were attended, such as Anthony Galindez, Security Manager, who secured a safe environment for all, as well!

And, with that, let over 2300 children smile and know they are loved!
